A "
vessel", from the Greek, is something that is "
made" or "
fashioned". There are many variations of the word differing in a prefix that modifies the meaning in same way.
*G384 *1 ἀνασκευάζω (an-ask-yoo-ad'-zo) : from G303 (in the sense of reversal) and a derivative of G4632 σκεῦος; properly, to pack up (baggage), i.e. (by implication, and figuratively) to upset:--subvert.

Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, [kjv]
ο δε αποκριθεις ειπεν ουκ ανεγνωτε οτι ο κτισας απ αρχης αρσεν και θηλυ εποιησεν αυτους [gnt]
Going against the Creator or God is to remove the difference between "
male" and "
female". This can be done superficially but the underlying
DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) is not changed.
In the beginning, God made them male and female. From this verse we can infer that God can view a person as a "
vessel". We see this idea in 1 Peter 3:7.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. [kjv]
If women are the weaker "
vessel" then men would be the stronger "
vessel". We are
not interested here in what weaker or stronger mean. The important point here is a person can be referred to as a "
vessel".
