Jesus tends to use nouns as key words. And Jesus tends to use nouns in a particular case (e.g., dative, genitive, etc.) in a particular way.
"ανθρωπω" ≈ "man" (dative singular)
In Matthew, Jesus uses the noun
"man" in the dative case in a particular way
nine times in Matthew. One of these verses is used in a way different than the usual interpretation.
As often happens, the
TR (Textus Receptus) uses the word in that case in an inappropriate way that breaks the model. The
TR adds this noun in the dative case one time in a way that breaks the model.
Matthew sometimes uses this word in filling in connecting commentary and appears to be unaware of any special meaning for a given word in a given case, etc. Such verses will be omitted.
