Time of visitation
by RS  admin@creationpie.org : 1024 x 640

1. Time of visitation
(under development)

2. Time of visitation
Jesus tells the Jews that they did not recognize his day of visitation. Therefore, it is now hidden from their eyes.

3. Luke 13:33-34
Verse routeLuke 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. [kjv]
Verse route13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! [kjv]

The verse in Luke 13:33 ends with "Jerusalem" and then repeats that word twice more at the start of the next verse.

This is one of three places in the GNT (Greek New Testament) where a word is repeated three times.

4. Luke 19:41-44 Visitation
Verse routeLuke 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, [kjv]
Verse route19:42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace ! but now they are hid from thine eyes. [kjv]

Jesus then makes a prophetic statement which echoes Daniel's sixty-nine week prophecy in Danial 9.
Verse route19:43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, [kjv]
Verse route19:44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. [kjv]

9. Romans 11:25 Blindness
Verse routeRomans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [kjv]

Paul was usually writing to a Greek audience who would have the background of the meaning of the word "mystery" as connected with a somewhat secret society and of initiation into that group to get that knowledge and benefits.

Part of the "mystery" involves the "blindness" of the Jews, until the time of the Gentiles is complete. That is, until the time of the Kingdom of Heaven, or age of the church, is complete.

This "blindness" appears to be stated by Jesus in Luke 13:34-35.
