As seen on TVAnd, of course, we have the Christmas story in Matthew where the wise men (magi) "goed" in to see the baby Jesus to offer gold, frankincense and, wait, theres "myrrh".

At one time, the "goed" was part of Old English but was eventually replaced by the French "went".

The present tense of "went" is "wend" and is still occasionally used, as in "I wend my way" (present tense) or "I went my way" (past tense).
