4. Esther and diadems
The Greek word for "
diadem" is that of a headband-like "
crown" appears several times in the book of Esther.
The word is used in the hymn "
All hail the power".
5. Revelation 13:1 Headband as a crown
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. [kjv]

The ancient Greek word
"στέφανος" ≈ "that which encircles, surrounds, crown" and comes from the ancient Greek word
"στέφω" ≈ "encircle, put around". This is
not the Greek word used here.
The
KJV (King James Version) translates as
"crowns" the Greek word that means
"headband" as in the crowns worn by
Persian kings. In the
LXX there are three uses in Esther as the crown of a Persian king and several in Isaiah.
