Kitty's eyes were getting so bad that she could hardly see at all, so in February of 1974, she went to the hospital to have a cataract removed from her left eye. Her Doctor was Dr. Posey, but Dr. Leaphart who worked with Dr. Posey, performed the operation. After she had been fitted with proper glasses, she could see better than she ever did in her life. It was really a miracle, and even better than Dr. Posey or any of us had hoped. She can now see to read and do all her work very nicely. Blaine Long, Memories of Huntington County (about 1980).
