Jesus addresses the
sheep as
brethren:
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. [kjv]
Jesus addresses the
goats, but
not as
brethren:
25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. [kjv]
Does this mean that each group did
not do those things to the others in that group? What about the
other group?
The
one cookie rule resolves the problem.
The
"one" refers to
you as the
"one" cookie to which you did not do these things.
