We saw that we should not even bother to try to take the twig out of our brother's eye (to keep him from bearing fruit) but, instead, should rethink our expectations (the beam in our eye) as to what we should really be doing - loving God and loving our neighbor.

We saw how Jesus and not Joshua (same name in Hebrew) fought the battle of Jericho.

Joshua just had to do what he was asked to do.

We saw how Paul summarizes what we are to do to defend the faith wearing the full armor of God while Jesus fights the real battle.

We often need to depart and leave and not come back for a while.
